Davy at John’s Birthday

Some pictures of Davy at John’s birthday last Sunday (John is son of Jeff who is Steve’ colleage). Nomer, one of the teacher, has hunted Davy for the whole party to get these pictures. They are very nice. Thanks Nomer!

Davy with his Nanny

Last Sunday was the last day Nanny with Davy after one and half year being with him. She left us because her husband doesn’t want her to be away from him. Though she sometime made me angry because of carelessness in giving medication to Davy but I love her as a kind person. She took a good care of Davy and was very nice to my family since she is very honest. Davy loves her very much. He always asks “where is Ma ba?” – he calls her “Ma ba”- whenever she went home for a visit. Sure he will miss her very much this time because he won’t be able to see her again until she pays any visit to us. Thanking her for all help and love to my family.

Daddy birthday’s gift from Davy

Davy had a very special gift to his Daddy’s birthday by painting a dog by himself. The gift was made the night before the birthday under his cousins’ help. But most of the work was from him and he decided to gift a dark blue dog to his Dad

Sleeping

One of my favourite is looking at my son sleeping. When he sleeps, the world looks very peaceful. It is difficult to describe my feeling when seeing him sleep but I know it’s full of pride and love there.

Davy’s Friends

Last Christmas (2008)  Davy went to Phan Thiet to enjoy Chirstmas with Mom and Dad. Davy was supposed to go with friend Savannah but because Nah got a burn on her arm so she couldn’t go to water. Nah and Davy usually went to simming pool together and had a lot of fun there. However, she missed the chance that time.

Thought that Davy will have no friend in Phan Thiet, fortuately, he met Quynh Chi. Quynh Chi is about 4 year-old. She is very cute and likes Davy so much. Davy also likes Quynh Chi. They had a good time together in the swimming pool and on the beach. Quynh Chi ‘s and Davy’s family became friend since then. However, Quynh Chi is up in Hanoi where is  the north of Vietnam which is difficult for Davy to meet her sometime.  Davy’s Mom is hoping a business trip in Hanoi so that she can pay a visit to Quynh Chi.

If Quynh Chi is in HCM, that would be great for three of them Davy, Quynh Chi and Nah to go swimming together because all of them like water and sand. Below are some pictures of them playing with sand.  Hope my dream come true so that they can gather and play together.

Davy with Nana

It is surprise me when Davy is too young to know something that is not at his age. Last Tet, when he came to Long An to enjoy Tet, while playing with the ball in the yard, he heard the airplan sound from the sky, he looked up,  pointed up the sky and said in Vietnamese that “May bay, Nana do” (which means the airplan and Nana is up there) That is so smart for the kid that age to know something that nobody taught or told him. He must love and miss his Nana (grandmother) alot to know and say that. Sometime before that he kept pointing at the Nana’s picture and said “Nana do” (here is Nana). When I took the photo for him, he hugged the photo and then kissed it. The first time he kissed his Nana’s picture was when he was only 9 month-old. That was a month after coming back from Canada where  he first met his Nana. Surely, he will love to see Nana again on this summer when he starts to talk more and knows how to make Nana laugh. As a smart kid like him, he will make his Nana missing him more every time she meet him.

Davy with Christmas

Last Xmas Davy visited grandmother in Canada. It was so cold that he had to wear snow suit everytime going out. Sure that it was not comfortable at all but he had a good time with his grandmother

This Xmas Davy spent his Xmas in tropical beach in Vietnam (Phan Thiet) where he was in T-shirt and swimming suit only.

Davy is at 22nd months now. Only two more months Davy will be 2 year-old. Time flies fast.

This Tet is the second Tet of him, he knows how to make people laugh by some his cute and silly action.
